Should a big multi-million dollar company have the same access to the internet as a public school in the middle of a small city? Yes! This is called net neutrality. It’s simply the principal that establishes the same chance to succeed despite where you come from, or what you do.
Back in 2010, President Barack Obama was a big supporter of net neutrality. By partnering up with the Federal Communications Center (F.C.C.), they introduced protections that prevented internet service providers from blocking websites or limiting users. A lot of hate was given to this new rule because large companies such as Verizon and Apple wanted to limit others to create such large companies like Google. Nonetheless, President Obama kept his head up, giving us citizens net neutrality.
The brilliant decision by the FCC and President Obama promoted innovation and an open field for aspiring entrepreneurs. In fact, this decision was made by the help of the people, showing that people showed up for what they believe in.
Internet censorship is pretty self-explanatory, it's the name itself. It is when certain content is censored due to rights or what is important. No matter where you are or what internet you are using, certain aspects of that website will always be censored, mainly for legal reasons.

A Digital Divide refers to the gap between people who have access to the most recent and accurate information and to those who don't. It has shown that access to the information world has done much better than a world that doesn’t have that.
It is fairly easy to distinguish this divide. For example it could be you and an older relative who’s mindset is mainly equipped to their time. Also, having a reliable internet source gives you an advantage to those with an unsteady internet source.
